Recommendations

Databricks does not currently offer a plugin in the WordPress plugin directory.

As more enterprises turn to WordPress as an integral part of their data stack, there’s a lot of opportunity to position Databricks as an analytics provider for those companies. Consider offering your own plugin to facilitate a tighter, best practice integration with WordPress.

Accordingly, my recommendations are:

1. Use the guides on GrowInWP.com to develop a roadmap for an ideal plugin integration. Start with Deciding To Build a WordPress Plugin.
2. Duplicate and complete the “Impact Filter” worksheet to help your leadership team get buy-in for building an integration.
3. Find a developer who knows WordPress well who can facilitate the development of a proof of concept plugin and be available to provide long-term support. (If you’d like recommendations for a developer let me know)
4. Create a plugin with an OpenRank score of 60 or higher that you can offer to customers as a direct connection between Databrick and WordPress.
